When you are adding a Variable in Explorer or Territory Manager, you have an option to create a Formula. What is that for?
This allows you to combine different variables and create formulas between them. You can therefore create ad-hoc variables based on your business needs and visualise the most relevant heatmaps.
For example, you can create a market penetration variable/layer with a formula between your target market and your number of clients at a chosen level.
Concretely, this would mean combining an External variable (for example females between 20 and 35 years old) and an Internal variable (for example number of online orders) and use the following formula: (Number of online orders / Females between 20 and 35 years old) x 100).
You can then save that computed variable and access it easily as an Internal Variable for future market penetration analysis.
