How often do we update the information?
Geoblink 360 data comes from different sources. In each graph you will be able to see when was the last update.
How do we calculate footfall and driving traffic evolution?
The pedestrian and road traffic data is taken from a sample of GPS data from mobile devices. We calibrate this data with numbers of attendance to events, visits to shopping centres, mobile phone signals, etc.
We are therefore able to closely estimate how many people walk and how many cars pass by a street segment during each day and hour.
¿What does the variation percentage represent?
It represents how that indicator (footfall or driving traffic) has increased or decreased compared to the previous week.
¿What is the daily average pedestrians?
It is the average of all the pedestrians that walk by all the analysed stores or POIs. For example: if we are looking at this number in "My Network" and we have 5 stores, the number is the average for all five stores together. That means that if the average is 500 pedestrians, we could have had 100 average pedestrians per store or 500 in one store and 0 in the other 4 stores.
¿What would happen if I change a store´s location? ¿And if I upload new stores to Geoblink?
1when moving the location of a marker through the app, the information for that marker will not change in Geoblink 360 till the next Saturday. On Saturday, it is when we upload all the new weekly information and update the graphics.
Same will happen to the new markers. These will not be visible until Saturday.
¿What markers do show in Ranking?
The marker´s ranking shows the stores that have had the most positive evolution compared to the previous week.
